Notes: An impressive Pinot, so great is its complexity! It features a broad palette of aromas, starting with hints of stewed strawberry and cranberry juice, followed by an array of spicy notes: plenty of Bourbon vanilla, nutmeg, and a caramelly edge reminiscent of rum. The tannins are highly refined and delicate, lengthening the finish while bringing definition to this satin-textured wine.

Duck with fruit reductions: textbook match for pan-seared duck breast with a cherry or cranberry gastrique

Spiced Roasted Meats: Excellent with rack of lamb encrusted with warm spices, or a slow-roasted pork belly

Earthy game Birds: Roasted quail or pheasant served alongside a rich jus will beautifully complement the wine

Mushroom & truffle dishes: A rich wild mushroom risotto or homemade pasta with fresh black truffles and shaved Parmesan.
